BactMentha is a database of host-bacteria protein interactions, enriched with bacterial protein functional annotations,
and complemented by protein binding regions that are either described in the literature or computationally inferred
using known sequence-based interaction templates or predicted complex structures.

uniprot_ac
or uniprot accession number must be composed of 6 to 10 characters and must only contain letters and digits.

A
uniprot_gene
can only contain letters, digits and underscores. This is the shorted version of the gene name, also called gene symbol.

or taxon identifier consists of 1 to 9 digits, inclusive.
